As a rapidly growing pharmacy, we are looking to add an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) or other dispensers qualified to accuracy check dispensed medicines. Responsibilities
- You will be working alongside the pharmacist and the rest of the team to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy on a day-to-day basis.
- You will be assisting with the management of pharmacy stock and inventory.
- You will be addressing queries and communicating with patients, customers and others over the phone.
- You will be preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
- You will be completing the final accuracy check on dispensed medications before they are supplied to the patient.

Job Details
- Number of Positions: 1
- Total Hours: Between 22-26 hours
- Schedule: Over 4 days, Monday-Friday (negotiable)
- A total of 24 hours weekly
- Probation: 6 months
- Pay and Remuneration: £14.50 to £16/hr (Depending on experience)
Qualifications and Requirements
- Registration where required with the appropriate body as an accuracy checker e.g. GPhC.
- A clearance on the enhanced DBS check.
- A willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards work in a professional healthcare setting is essential.
- Good IT skills and ability to adapt to and learn new software and systems.
- You will need to have excellent communication skills and a passion for helping patients.
- You can demonstrate a commitment to delivering a high-quality healthcare service.
- You will need the ability to work well in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments (as well as show efficiency in a slow-paced setting).
