THE PURPOSE
Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for sport, travel, and commercial success?
We’re looking for a talented Commercial Executive to join our growing team. If you thrive on data analysis, enjoy creating profitable travel products, and love working in a competitive, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
This is a hybrid role, with three days a week spent in our Tewkesbury office, conveniently located just 10 minutes from Cheltenham.
We create unforgettable experiences at major global sporting events, as well as premium VIP corporate hospitality. From rugby, cricket, Formula 1 and tennis, to concerts, horse racing and even horticulture, our events span a wide variety of passions.
YOU’LL BE DOING
- Sourcing competitive quotes for both supporter and team travel from our preferred suppliers.
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure market-leading products and the best value for our customers.
- Creating detailed costing sheets and packaging compelling products for major sporting events.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with key suppliers and internal teams.
- Contributing to the ongoing success and innovation of one of the UK’s leading sports travel and hospitality brands.
- Researching competitors, monitoring market trends, and exploring new destinations, excursions, and hotel opportunities.
- Contracting suppliers in line with Compass Group agreements and compliance standards.
- Writing engaging and informative content for the website, including package descriptions and itineraries.
- Supporting partners with bespoke solutions for their team travel requirements.
- Producing detailed itineraries and comprehensive travel briefs for teams.
YOU’LL HAVE
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or a genuine passion for sport is essential.
- Experience in team or group travel is desirable, though not essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly, professional approach and the ability to build strong relationships.
- A high level of tenacity, curiosity, and a strong work ethic, with a drive for continuous self-development.
- Confidence and initiative to take ownership, solve problems, and deliver outstanding customer service.
- A solid understanding and appreciation of business operations and logistics.
- Tech-savvy and analytically minded, with strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
