This position will be responsible for the pursuit and execution of Aircraft Ownership Services (AOS) contracts within assigned territory. This position will be based within Europe or the Middle East, with reasonable access and ability to travel as required. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in negotiating aviation services and/or support contracts. Multilingual or bilingual applicants preferred, to successfully navigate regional interactions. Primary focus for our sales managers will be in the United Kingdom and/or Dubai.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 6 years business management and sales experience preferably in a corporate environment.

Position Purpose:

Sell product support services to business aviation operators and other sales prospects which meet or exceed corporate sales objectives and strategies. Develop regional strategies to support corporate objectives. Manage account and develop leads and opportunities. Assist in development of annual sales forecasts, analysis on lost business, and new business opportunities analysis and quotas for all services.

Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Use comprehensive judgment and business acumen to interpret financial data to assist company and customers in influencing sales, forecasting and meeting the company financial objectives.
  • Strategic partner to your team and qualify customers to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Support customers in creating strategies surrounding maintenance programs and aircraft enhancements.
  • Translate customer requirements into services that can be quoted and scheduled to optimize operational costs.
  • Professionally lead difficult conversations and navigate to a positive outcome for the company and customer.
  • Work independently and effectively leverage the company support network.
  • Assist in development of regional sales strategies to support corporate objectives.

Additional Functions:

  • Travel extensively, including internationally, achieving projected sales forecast and quotas.
  • Attend major air shows, trade conventions and other meetings as appropriate to represent Gulfstream.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 50 - 75% of the time.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Customer Relationship Management tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and business judgment in the handling of complex business issues and difficult customer situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
