The engineer selected for this role will work with approximately 21 different Gulfstream aircraft models. Ideal candidates will have experience in post-production liaison, stress analysis, MRB, or concession stress engineering. Daily activities include liaison duties and stress analysis supporting structural repair, rework, and alteration. Certification activities under 14CFR, FAA, and foreign aviation authorities will be involved, including familiarity with 14CFR 145 repair stations and aircraft repair per 14CFR 43 or UKCAA/EASA standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience creating 2D repair drawings
- Familiarity with Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis techniques and software
- Skill in developing and analyzing composite repairs
- Prior experience with Gulfstream aircraft
- FAA DER or ODA unit member for 14CFR25 aircraft structures
- Experience with Structural Repair Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalog, and Aircraft Maintenance Manuals
Bachelor\’s Degree in engineering or a related technical field is required, or equivalent experience. The position supports major engineering programs, research, and development for Gulfstream products and services.

- Acts as a recognized authority within the field, providing extensive consultation to colleagues.
- Anticipates and resolves complex issues creatively, developing standards and guides for engineering activities.
- Balances technical, cost, and schedule considerations in problem-solving.
- Works independently with results reviewed from a long-term perspective.
- Determines technical objectives and makes authoritative decisions and recommendations.
Additional Functions:
- Maintains current knowledge of developments in relevant aircraft fields to recommend innovations for quality and effectiveness improvements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
- Advanced degree in engineering or related field preferred.
- The technical skill level will be determined by each discipline.
