We are a regional service centre supporting Gulfstream aircraft across multiple lines of business. We provide ongoing maintenance, repair and overhaul support globally.
Responsibilities
- Act as an inspector in support of specific aircraft, line or base maintenance activities in accordance with MOE Part 145.
- Perform the day‑to‑day duties of a Licensed Mechanical Senior Inspector when requested by a Service Team Manager.
- Manage manpower, including licensed mechanical and avionics inspectors and fitters, for a specific aircraft line or base maintenance input.
- Certify tasks that have been trained on and authorised to perform; inspect and certify at Farnborough main base and other locations worldwide.
- Carry out any other maintenance tasks requested by the Maintenance Team Leader.
For base maintenance, this can include Category ‘C’ certification for those qualified under MOE Part 34.
- Promote and ensure that aircraft line or base maintenance commitments are fulfilled within the assigned time scale, and report any delays promptly.
- Ensure that all relevant maintenance documentation is completed fully, including all task stage requirements before the end of each shift or upon reassignment.
- Maintain personal and departmental husbandry, ensuring hygiene and cleanliness standards are met.
- Ensure handovers are carried out as required and attend stand‑up board meetings as needed.
- Collaborate with the Service Team Manager or Department Manager on additional duties delegated.
- Promote quality workmanship to standards acceptable to the UKCAA, complying with statutory and company standards for all maintenance and design change work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Valid aircraft maintenance licence with relevant aircraft type ratings.
- Certification experience within a Part 145 organisation.
- Evidence of aircraft inspection and certification experience.
- Good working knowledge of aviation legislation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in practical computer use.
- Flexible approach to working patterns.
- Organised approach to daily job tasks.
- Additional Requirements
- Extensive combination of line and base maintenance experience.
- Experience within the corporate aerospace industry an advantage.
