Official title within the organisation: Marketing Manager – European Lubricants and Global Branded Workshops.

SALARY: up to £60,000 per annum + Annual Performance Bonus + Benefits.

LOCATION: Hybrid. Working from the Office in London (SW1Y) 3 Days per Week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and 2 Days from Home (Thursday and Friday).

JOB OVERVIEW: We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Marketing Manager with experience in automotive or lubricants marketing, B2B customer engagement, brand strategy, product marketing and distributor channel development. As the Marketing Manager you will lead the European marketing agenda, delivering campaigns, SEO, paid media, social media, trade marketing and product launch activity aligned to commercial objectives. The role also supports the development of a global branded workshop proposition, creating toolkits, value propositions and sales enablement materials for international markets. The Marketing Manager will work across sales, technology, operations and marketing teams, using strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills to deliver measurable business results.

DUTIES

  • European Marketing Strategy: Lead the marketing function across European markets, setting priorities and aligning activity with commercial objectives.
  • Marketing Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage the annual European marketing plan and budget, ensuring clear ROI measurement.
  • Brand and Campaign Delivery: Translate global brand strategy into Europe-specific plans, campaigns and channel execution.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the European lubricants portfolio and support new product introduction, positioning, transition and market launch readiness.
  • Trade and Channel Marketing: Develop programmes with sales teams and distributors to improve visibility, promotions, incentives and activation.
  • Digital Marketing: Own SEO activity, keyword planning, optimisation, paid media, digital advertising and performance marketing across Europe.
  • Content and Social Media: Manage always-on social content, review and approve regional content and support translations for European channels.
  • Workshop Programme Delivery: Create the commercial business case and implementation plan for the branded workshop programme in Europe.
  • Global Toolkit Development: Develop and maintain global toolkits to support distributor and automotive workshop prospecting, onboarding and monitoring.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, customers and markets to support product adoption, value propositions and commercial growth.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, business or a relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience in the lubricants industry, automotive sector or a similar product category.
  • Proven experience working with distributors, licensees or indirect sales models.
  • Experience in market management or equivalent commercial marketing activity.
  • Demonstrable experience driving measurable business results across a portfolio of product brands.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with sound financial acumen.
  • Experience developing and managing marketing budgets with clear ROI measurement.
  • Ability to develop and implement B2B, product growth and channel marketing strategies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to write compelling value propositions and messages.
  • Confident collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams, including senior stakeholders.
  • IT literate with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Project and Excel.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

  • Experience supporting branded workshop, distributor or customer-facing programmes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and a customer-focused approach.

  • Willingness to travel across Europe, subject to business requirements.
