GAC UK are looking for a QHSSES Officer to join the Group GAC Bunker Fuels QHSSES Team. GAC UK employs over 300 experts across more than 25 offices covering all of the UK, Ireland and Gibraltar. We deliver a wide range of integrated shipping, logistics and marine services to the energy and shipping industries. We also serve specialised sectors like marine leisure, sports and events, automotive and aviation, providing complex and time‐critical logistics solutions. We apply the highest standard of customer services to everything we do and aim to be industry leaders within all the sectors we serve.
Location: Flexible, however as the successful candidate will be required to regularly commute to London, we would prefer someone within a 1.5hr distance.
Working hours: 6am to 2pm UK time, to align with Dubai hours.
This role will be reporting directly to Kelly Rump, QHSSES Assurance Manager for GAC Bunker Fuels.
Key responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for the maintenance of GAC Bunker Fuels' ISO integrated management system (IMS) working documents.
- Maintaining data quality, ensuring data is accurate and up to date at all times.
- Produce and maintain accurate documents with strong attention to detail.
- Ensure GDPR working documents are kept up to date.
Job requirements:
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Strong data quality skills, ensuring information is accurate, complete, consistent, and delivered in a timely manner.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise responsibilities.
- A critical thinker with the ability to systematically analyse data, maintaining a solution‐focused mindset by fully understanding tasks and proactively questioning any irregularities that arise.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, particularly Excel and Word; PowerPoint would be an advantage.
- A background in quality and/or experience in internal auditing is advantageous.
