Maintain high standards of quality, safety, security, health and environmental protection. Follow company & client procedures & report all hazards, incidents & safety concerns. Ensure vessels are correctly moored and aligned with shore loading arms and connections. Ensure safe access via properly rigged gangways and monitor this throughout operations. Connect and disconnect loading arms and spool pieces. Operate valves to direct product through the correct pipeline into shore tanks. Complete Ship Shore Checklists and carry out regular checks in line with ISGOTT to ensure safe discharge. Monitor for leaks and adjust connections as required. Carry out shore tank dipping. Take samples from ships, cargo lines, shore tanks and truck bays. Test in line with customer requirements. Perform line displacements, stripping operations and pigging operations. Accurately record all activities and findings during the shift. Working hours vary depending on shipping and tidal conditions.

Job Requirements

  • Good understanding and appreciation of a proactive safety culture.
  • Marine or terminal experience desired but not necessary, as all training will be provided.
  • Full clean driving licence with own transport available.
  • Willingness to travel between sites (travel costs are covered).
