The Procurement Manager will report to the Procurement Director and will support on strategic sourcing, purchasing, and overall management of the procurement processes, including supplier relationships management, optimisation of costs, quality, and supply chain efficiency.

  • Procurement Strategy and Planning: Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and high-quality suppliers. Collaborate with other departments to assess and forecast procurement needs. Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, quality standards, and delivery schedules. Conduct regular supplier audits to assess reliability and performance.
  • Contract Negotiation: Review supplier agreements collaborating with internal stakeholders (legal, HSE, technical).
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and transactions. Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier metrics to senior management.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement in the renewable sector (Solar, Wind and/or BESS), with a demonstrated ability to manage complex purchasing activities and supplier relationships. Analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier performance and market trends. Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
