We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Contract Manager to oversee the full contract lifecycle across our renewable energy projects. This role is responsible for drafting, negotiating, executing, monitoring, and renewing contracts while ensuring compliance and minimizing risk. The Contract Manager will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts, primarily supply agreements, EPC, and ICP contracts
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Business teams throughout contract negotiations
- Track contract milestones, renewals, amendments, and expirations
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks
- Maintain accurate and well-organized contract records and documentation
- Support dispute resolution and claims management processes when required
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract terms and procedures
- Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties meet their contractual obligations
- Collaborate with Procurement to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
What you'll need:
- Degree in Engineering, Law, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management or contract administration, preferably within renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction projects
- Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms within the renewable energy sector
- Knowledge of FIDIC contract forms is considered an advantage
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, BESS) is an advantage
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Familiarity with FIDIC or similar international contract frameworks
- Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks
- Experience working in a regulated or fast-paced project environment
