Gülermak Renewables is expanding its footprint across the UK and European renewable energy markets, with a focus on Solar PV, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). As part of this growth, we are building a collaborative and high-performing team dedicated to identifying, developing, and investing in high-quality renewable energy projects.
We are looking for an Investment Manager to play an important role in sourcing, evaluating, acquiring, and supporting the development of renewable energy opportunities. We would like to meet with candidates who are curious, motivated, and excited about the energy transition.
- Identify, originate, and progress renewable energy investment opportunities across the UK and European markets, primarily in Solar, Wind, and Battery Storage.
- Work across both project development and investment processes, building strong relationships with developers and supporting transactions from early-stage origination through to Ready-to-Build (RtB).
- Identify and originate new renewable energy project opportunities and joint development partnerships with developers across the UK and Europe (Solar, Wind, Battery Storage).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project developers, consultants, and other industry stakeholders.
- Evaluate new investment opportunities and support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions.
- Work closely with internal and external technical, financial, and legal teams to assess projects and support acquisitions and development activities.
- Support the progression of projects through development stages toward Ready-to-Build (RtB).
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture by sharing insights, market intelligence, and lessons learned.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in renewable energy or a related field such as project development, investment analysis, M&A, or business development.
- A good understanding of the UK and/or European renewable energy markets, particularly Solar, Wind, and/or BESS.
- Familiarity with planning, grid connection, and permitting processes in renewable energy projects.
- Exposure to project origination, acquisitions, investment analysis, or commercial evaluation.
- Understanding of due diligence processes, commercial feasibility, and financial modelling concepts.
- Ability to assess projects from both technical and commercial perspectives.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe when required.
