This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as Head of Project Finance, taking ownership of all project and structured finance matters related to raising finance in our renewable energy projects in the UK and Europe and then managing the financing portfolio.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of structuring and raising debt finance for our projects including:
- Initiating and managing discussions with potential banks and private lenders
- Structuring finance and managing the whole stream in capital raising
- Overseeing the whole capital raising processes related to lenders
- Managing bank relations in the UK and EU region
- Evaluating term sheets and working on optimization of the financial structure
- Assessing bankability aspects of project documents (EPC, O&M, PPA)
- Executing deals including loan documentation, financial close process, CPs satisfaction and drawdowns
- Administration of Finance Documents, compliance reports, undertakings reporting, and waiver process
Act as the key leader in bank relations and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including lawyers, Business Development and EPC management teams and other functions.
Requirements:
- 7+ years’ proven structured and project finance experience in a bank, advisory firm, or a large organization with similar responsibilities in the UK
- Loan structuring including project financing documentation, due diligence, and financial close process
- Knowledge of legal and accounting principles of non-recourse financing
- Understanding of financial modelling applications in non-recourse finance
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
