About the role: You will be working in a modern busy Shopping Centre, where you will be expected to have expert knowledge on how to deescalate conflict issues and deal with security related incidents. Your key role is to maintain security, health and safety and stakeholder relationships. You will be expected to have a friendly disposition and be outgoing enough to get to know the Centre retailers and maintain good relations with them and your Team. You should perform your role with diligence and instil confidence in others that you will resolve their concerns quickly. Your attitude should always focus on ‘how can I help’ in all situations. You will be flexible and willing to help and act as a key part of the team. During your working day you will focus on developing and coaching staff to deliver service excellence. You will receive full training and we are looking for motivated individuals who will make a measurable contribution to the continued success of GUK.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Carry out walk arounds to identify any faults ensuring the premises is maintained, well presented and clean at all times
  • Reporting faults to Management
  • Provide information and dealing with any queries from the Shopping Centre Tenants and members of the public
  • General security duties
  • Monitoring CCTV
  • Following GUK’s and Client procedures and protocols regarding health and safety.

Must have:

  • SIA Licence - DS OR SO
  • CCTV SIA licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic report writing and IT skills
  • Able to compose emails and prepare incident reports
  • Proactively uses initiative to recognise priorities within own workload
  • Able to problem solve
  • A good level of spoken and written English
  • Dealing with difficult situations and finding solutions
