Job Summary
We are seeking to recruit a part‑time Cleaning Services Supervisor to work 10 hours per week (2 hours per day) to manage a team of cleaners, ensuring the effective delivery of cleaning services for Guiseley School. The right candidate will have experience in supervising staff, with the ability to work to the requirements of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of cleaners.
- Ensure the delivery of high‑quality cleaning services to maintain a safe and clean learning environment.
- Plan and schedule cleaning tasks in accordance with school requirements.
- Provide training and support to cleaning staff.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment records.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience supervising a cleaning or maintenance team.
- Good knowledge of pastoral support.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility and reliability in working hours.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
Salary and Working Hours
Salary scale: C1 (£7,233.00 – £7,581.00 per annum). This role is part‑time (10 hours per week, 2 hours per day) and will be pro‑rated for take‑home pay. The position is permanent from September 2026.
