We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and committed Teacher of Social Sciences to join the Social Science team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will have the ability to teach two of the three specialisms including Psychology, Criminology and Sociology. Guiseley School is passionate about its Social Science department, and we’re looking for an individual who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all our students.

The successful candidate will have a passion for the Sciences and will work alongside a team of specialised teachers to ensure we challenge our students appropriately. The ability to teach Health & Social to KS5 is advantageous.

We are interested in applications from both ITT students wishing to begin their careers at Guiseley School and substantive staff who are keen to further their experience with us. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and have a good knowledge of the national curriculum of at least two of the following subjects: Physiology, Criminology and Sociology and be keen to contribute to wider aspects of school life.

Applicants should note that the start date for this role is September 2026 and the role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
