Guinness Property, our in-house maintenance service, delivers repairs to 55,000 of our homes. Our national teams deliver rapid-response housing repairs, maintenance, and improvement services to ensure our residents' homes are safe and maintained to a high standard.
Are you an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is dedicated to maintaining the smooth operation of planned repairs? If so, then the Guinness Partnership are seeking an Area Planner to join our team in Exeter on a full-time, permanent basis.
About the role: Our Repairs and Maintenance teams play an important role in delivering our vision of providing great homes and great service. They offer vital support, ensuring that our homes are safe, warm, and dry, and where everything works; Places where our residents are proud to live. Reporting to the operational support manager, the successful candidate will provide an effective planning service for our trade operatives' work schedules to ensure all operating needs and customer requirements are met. We operate a hybrid working model with a 3-day office-based requirement and 2 days working from home.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of scheduling work.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks & deadlines.
- Experience with customer-focused roles, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Knowledge and understanding of GDPR regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures, and accurately record data and information.
- Experience of working with databases.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures.
