JOB DESCRIPTION
Our national workspace teams provide a proactive and professional workspace management service to The Guinness Partnership. We have a new opportunity for an Area Workspace Manager to join the Guinness team. This is an agile role, your time will be split between on-site visits across the South, office-based work in the central London office, and some home working as required.
As an Area Workspace Manager, you will be responsible for managing workspace across the South region, completing audits to ensure compliance and management of sites. You will lead planning and delivery of workspace projects (refurbishments, compliance works) and monitor workspace usage, providing monthly updates and insights. You will oversee regular risk assessments across all workspace areas, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational standards while proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
What we are looking for
We know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. In addition to bringing your experience of managing workspace services across a multi-site portfolio, you will demonstrate the ability to work independently, effectively organise your workload, and manage your time efficiently.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety regulation and legislation.
- Experience of managing capital and revenue budgets.
- Experience of delivering workspace management services across a multi-site portfolio.
- Experience of business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) planning and implementation.
- Experience of leading projects and project management experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The advertised salary includes a £4000 Local Job Supplement for London.
