JOB DESCRIPTION About the role We have an exciting new opportunity for an Energy Manager to join The Guinness Partnership on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Environmental Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in supporting The Guinness Partnership to become Net Carbon Zero by 2050. What were looking for You will not only be a confident communicator – with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, but you will also be able to conduct complex analysis of data with a view to developing strategies and solutions to reduce carbon emissions. You will be responsible for the management and procurement of energy and utility contracts. You will also lead on implementing the strategy for our Solar PV and Electric Vehicle Charging portfolios. Essential: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. Experience of developing strategy in an energy and utilities-based role Excellent knowledge of government policy/ legislation on utilities. Experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript) and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Systemslink, SPSS etc.) Experience with housing specific packages such as Parity Portfolio or other equivalent Property Energy Data Software. Highly numerate with analytical experience, to include data modelling and analysis of large technical data sets.
