A Technical Business Analyst is required to support a high-priority, data-driven transformation initiative, focusing on integrating and migrating data into a Single Customer View (SCV) platform. This is a key role that will drive customer-centric insights, enabling more accurate analytics and data-informed decision-making. The successful candidate will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders-business leaders, data engineers, developers, and product owners-to gather requirements, design SCV solutions, and ensure the seamless implementation of the platform.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
* Customer-Centric Analysis: Conduct interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions to define and prioritize data-driven business needs, specifically focused on improving and leveraging the SCV to drive customer insights.
* End-to-End Data Integration: Map out and optimize user journeys and workflows related to customer analytics and SCV data integration, ensuring seamless experiences that align with business goals.
* Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, developers, and product owners to translate customer data requirements into actionable insights, ensuring that the SCV platform is aligned with business objectives.
* Data Profiling and Quality Assessment: Conduct data profiling to assess the quality, structure, and integrity of customer data, ensuring it supports accurate, actionable insights within the SCV framework.
* Documentation and Analysis: Develop clear, comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process/data flow diagrams tailored to SCV initiatives.
* Support Program Lifecycle: Provide ongoing business analysis support from change impact assessments to business readiness activities, ensuring smooth transitions to a future data-driven, SCV-integrated state.
* Impact Assessment and Change Analysis: Address complex business problems impacting customer data, aligning cost, timeline, and feasibility with business objectives for successful SCV project delivery.
* Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate workshops, impact assessments, and business readiness sessions, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and contribute to the success of SCV integration and transformation efforts.
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of business analysis experience, particularly in data-driven projects with a strong focus on Single Customer View (SCV) initiatives.
- Experience in system and data integration projects
- Technical understanding of data systems, applications and the underlying technical architecture
- Strong experience in Master data
- Experience in MI development
- Experience designing and delivering workshops
- Proven expertise in customer data analysis, SCV platform implementation, and enhancing data accuracy for better customer insights and decision-making.
- Strong background in business process analysis and re-engineering, including GAP analysis and developing Target Operating Models (TOMs) to ensure optimal SCV performance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with an ability to assess data quality, integrate customer data from multiple sources, and deliver insightful analyses based on the SCV framework.
- Strong ability to communicate complex SCV and customer data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data modeling, data mapping techniques, and integration processes specifically within SCV-related data transformation projects.
- Familiarity with tools such as Visio, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with Azure DevOps/JIRA is a plus. Business Analysis certifications (IIBA, BCS, or similar) are advantageous
