Guildford Nursery School is looking for a SENCo from 1st September 2026.

Our large Maintained Nursery School is based on two sites, both with wonderful outdoor learning and play spaces. You will work across both sites. The post is full-time and permanent. We will consider applicants wishing to work part-time. Visits and/or phone calls to the nursery school are strongly advised for all serious candidates. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified teacher with QTS.
  • Is positive, flexible, responsible and with a passion for inclusive Early Years Education.
  • Is interested in Froebelian principles and pedagogy.
  • Is a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Is able to work in partnership with parents and carers to provide high quality inclusive education with care in our nursery school.
  • Is able to provide a rich, inclusive, safe yet challenging environment and curriculum to meet each of our children’s unique interests and needs.
