A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Salaried GP to become part of our dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. We are looking for a passionate and committed GP to work 8 sessions per week.
Main duties of the job:
- Sessional rate £11,981.46 per annum

About us:
Rated 'Good' by CQC and consistently achieving high QOF scores, Guildowns Group Practice is a forward-thinking, friendly, and university-linked GP teaching and training practice. We provide exceptional care to over 25,000 patients across four central Guildford locations. Our collaborative clinical team includes 18 GPs, advanced nurse practitioners, practice nurses, healthcare assistants, paramedics, social prescribers, physiotherapists, a chaplain, and a dedicated pharmacy team. We provide GP services to all demographic groups with different needs - students and care homes included. We hold bi-weekly clinical meetings for all clinical staff, occasionally featuring guest speakers. Our practice follows a named GP system, ensuring continuity of care, and all patient appointment requests are appropriately triaged by a designated GP.
Job responsibilities:
To provide cover and manage a caseload, dealing with a wide range of presenting health care needs in a primary care setting. The post holder will work with clinical colleagues in ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients. Duties will include consulting, home visits, triaging as appropriate, duty GP rota, Enhanced Access rota, issuing and signing repeat prescriptions and any administration associated with patient care.
