Guildmore is seeking a dynamic and driven Quantity Surveyor with strong Estimating skills to join our expanding Groundworks Unit. This new role has been created due to the ongoing success of our department and our commitment to further enhancing performance, accountability, and operational robustness. At Guildmore, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects across Education, Leisure, Commercial, Healthcare sectors, and mixed-use residential developments. We specialize in both new builds and refurbishments, with project values ranging from £5m to £30m. Key Responsibilities: Estimating Duties: * Assess tender documents to ensure all required information is available for accurate preparation. * Prepare bills of quantities by scheduling requirements from tender documents. * Issue and evaluate sub-contract and material enquiries. * Price Groundworks, Drainage, RC Frame, External Works, and Landscaping packages. * Complete and submit tender documents. * Identify and evaluate value engineering opportunities.
