Physiotherapist

Permanent: 0.6 FTE (21 hrs per week), Term‑time only. Salary range: £49,140 – £55,000 per annum (including Inner London Weighting).

We are seeking an experienced and student‑focused Physiotherapist to join our busy Student Services Department. This role is ideal for a qualified practitioner looking to apply and further develop their clinical expertise within a specialist higher education performing arts environment.

This is a varied and rewarding role, providing a high‑quality physiotherapy service to students across the School, with a particular focus on performance‑related musculoskeletal conditions affecting music, drama and production arts students. The role offers the opportunity to work both autonomously and collaboratively, supporting students’ recovery, physical wellbeing, and ability to participate fully in their training and performance.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Physiotherapist with HCPC registration and experience of delivering assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. They will be confident working independently, managing a clinical caseload and making sound clinical decisions, while also contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary student support environment.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and engage sensitively with students. A commitment to student wellbeing, injury prevention, and health promotion is essential, alongside an interest in the specific physical demands of performing arts training.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and time management skills, attention to detail in maintaining clinical records, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and evidence‑based practice. This role is based on site during term time, reflecting the need to provide accessible, in‑person clinical support to students.
