We are seeking an outstanding individual to take up the post of Head of Pathway (Stage Management). You will be responsible for leading the specialist BA (Hons) Production Arts: Stage Management Pathway as a member of the Production and Design management team, taking responsibility for all matters relating to the preparation, delivery, and assessment of course materials for the pathway; and contributing to the overall development, delivery and assessment of Production and Design programmes and School productions/projects.

You will line-manage teaching staff and control budgets as appropriate. You will have extensive industry experience that demonstrates continued high standing in the profession. You will have experience of working in higher education settings; a good understanding of the needs of students in a complex learning environment; and the ability to represent your discipline in the public domain through professional/industry sector engagement, consultancy, and/or research (which could include practice-based research).

The Production and Design Department is responsible for BA Production Arts, BA Performance Design and MA Collaborative Performance Making; a series of short courses and outreach activities; and extensive production activity in the School's programme of public-facing performances and events. We work closely on a range of productions (including operas, dramas, site-specific and digital works) with other departments.
