Families First Guildford is looking for a Team Leader to lead and manage the day‑to‑day delivery of emerging needs support in the borough of Guildford. This is a full‑time, permanent position (36 hours per week, with flexibility for a minimum of 30 hours across 4 days). The role will be based at the Guildford Nursery School, Hazel Avenue, and will involve supervising a team of Assistant Family Support Workers and, when required, holding a caseload of families.

Qualifications and Attributes
- Level 5 qualified in education, health and/or social care or equivalent experience in managing a related service
- Qualified in leadership and management or willing to undertake a qualification
- Good understanding of emerging needs support; positive, flexible, responsible and passionate about working with families
- Strong team‑player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and able to prioritise and manage a busy workload
- Capable of working in partnership with parents and carers to reduce inequalities in children’s outcomes

Salary and Recruitment
- Salary: PS8 scale £36,873 – £39,820 per annum (based on 36 hours per week)
