Are you ready to make a difference in public procurement? Guildford Borough Council is looking for three Procurement Specialists to help drive value, innovation and local impact across two progressive authorities: Guildford and Waverley. Working within a collaborative team, you’ll shape strategic sourcing, support procurement transformation, and deliver value-for-money solutions across a wide range of categories. You\’ll play a key role in building strong supplier markets, driving social value, and ensuring governance compliance aligned with UK regulations and local authority standing orders.
What You’ll Do:
- Shape and support strategic procurement initiatives across goods, services, and works.
- Lead on opportunity assessments, supplier engagement and category insight.
- Support colleagues and services through training, contract management, and guidance.
- Promote local spend, social value, and community outcomes in line with council priorities.
- Ensure full compliance with public procurement regulations and internal policies.
