Specialist - Neighbourhood Housing (Income) in Guildford

We\’re looking for a proactive, customer focused Housing Income Specialist to join our Income Recovery Team. This is a key role in helping us deliver a comprehensive housing and income service for our residents.

What you\’ll do:

• Act as the first point of contact and engaging with customers to record contact, agreements and referrals
• Manage a caseload of rent accounts in line with a agreed procedures.
• Provide tailored support and advice to support customers sustain tenancies.
• Develop a strong understanding of welfare benefits and payment requirements.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in debt recovery and income management.
• Knowledge and Experience of the Social Housing Sector.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with relationship building skills.
• A \”can do\” attitude and the ability to work under pressure in challenging situations and the ability to problem solve.
• Collaboration and Team working skills.
