Would you like to be part of an award‑winning multi‑disciplinary team managing a wide range of greenspaces across the borough? We are looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our Grounds Maintenance Services team within Environmental Services on a fixed‑term contract from April 2026 to October 2026. The role is essential in maintaining high‑quality, safe and accessible greenspaces for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a dedicated operational team.
- Carry out a range of programmed grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, strimming, hedge and shrub maintenance, litter collection and general upkeep of council‑managed land.
- Support improvement works and ensure that sites are maintained to a consistently high standard.
Qualifications
- Experience in grounds maintenance or similar outdoor work.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
