Our Heritage Service has an exciting opportunity for a Documentation Assistant to join our small collections team. Working across our sites and at our offsite store, you will document and digitise objects in our collection to Spectrum standards on our Collections Management System Collections Index+. Other duties may include carrying out object research, dealing with public enquiries and assisting with collection projects.

A demonstrable interest in museums and/or heritage sites and knowledge of museum documentation processes and standards are essential. Evidence of collections documentation experience and an ability to input data with a high level of accuracy should be demonstrated within your application. Some experience of using a museum collections management system and supervising volunteers are desirable.
