We are seeking an additional trustee who brings enthusiasm, sound judgement, and a commitment to our mission. This role does not require a specific professional specialism; rather, we are looking for someone who can contribute broadly to governance, strategy, and oversight.

You will work closely with other members of the board and our CEO to ensure we operate to our best.
In coming months we will review our charitable name as the start of our longer term strategic review. This is a great time to join as we start to map out the next chapter of our journey!
What are we looking for?
You will ideally have the ability to think strategically and contribute to board-level discussions so we are ideally looking for someone with five+ years experience of operating in a senior leadership role, which may be in the public, private or third sector. Alternatively you might be self-employed.

What will you be doing?
We keep our board relatively small with 5 trustees. This helps create a close community and allows a participative board environment where everyone is able to contribute and have an active role.
Our charity is at an exciting point right now - we've grown a lot over the past 4 or 5 years and we're now at a point of ensuring we have solid foundations for the next phase of our journey. We've invested in IT, financial systems and data management.
We're now starting to think about what's next for our charity - the geography we work in and the services we provide are all a part of this.
We're therefore looking for someone not just keen to support us in delivering our charitable purpose. We're also ideally looking for someone who can help develop our thinking strategically as we consider the 'big picture'. Or perhaps you are someone with good business connections who can help us think differently about our fundraising efforts.
