Payscale: Point 12 (FTE £28,598 per year, approx. £21,004 pro-rata)

About You
- Have experience of working across the primary age range.
- Have experience working in a TA or HLTA role.
- Have experience of covering classes.
- Have knowledge of Sounds Write phonics, Can Do Maths and PKC is desirable but not necessary as training will be given.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education.
- Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload.
- Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils.
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and have the ability to use their initiative.
- Be able to work flexibly and professionally.
About Role
We are looking for an experienced HLTA to join our team, working 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. The purpose of this role is to support the teaching and learning across the school, covering classes as timetabled and on an ad hoc basis when required.
