Linfield House, Worthing, West Sussex 31 Hours per Week | Permanent Contract

Join Guild Care and make a meaningful difference every day at Linfield House, our specialist dementia care home in Worthing. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to become part of our dedicated team, supporting people living with dementia to live fulfilling, dignified, and comfortable lives.

This permanent contracted role offers a structured two-week rolling rota, providing consistency and a healthy work-life balance while maintaining continuity of care for our residents.

Your Working Pattern

This role is based on a two-week rota:

Week 1

  • Sunday: 07:45 - 20:30

  • Monday: 14:00 - 20:30

  • Tuesday: 07:45 - 20:30

  • Wednesday & Thursday: Off

  • Friday: 07:45 - 20:30

  • Saturday: Off

Week 2

  • Sunday & Monday: Off

  • Tuesday: 07:45 - 20:30

  • Wednesday: 07:45 - 14:00

  • Thursday: Off

  • Friday: 07:45 - 20:30

  • Saturday: Off

Average contracted hours: 31 hours per week.

About the role

As a Registered Nurse at Linfield House, you will take a leading role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents living with dementia. Combining clinical expertise with genuine compassion, you will ensure residents' health, wellbeing and dignity remain at the heart of everything you do.

Working alongside our experienced care team, you will provide clinical leadership, oversee care delivery, and build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care.

  • Administer and manage medications in line with NMC and organisational standards.

  • Monitor residents' health and respond appropriately to changing needs.

  • Lead, supervise and support care staff during your shift.

  • Maintain accurate care records and clinical documentation.

  • Liaise with families, GPs and external healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

  • Promote independence, choice and dignity for every resident.

  • Support the overall smooth operation of the home and contribute to a positive culture.

About You

We are looking for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a genuine difference to people's lives.

You will have:

  • Current NMC registration.

  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • The confidence to lead and support a multidisciplinary team.

  • A compassionate and person-centred approach to care.

  • Experience in dementia care or older people's services would be advantageous, although not essential.
