We're looking for a proactive and highly organised person to join our fast-paced and friendly recruitment team. You'll play a vital role in helping new employees begin their Guild Care journey, providing a seamless onboarding experience from interview through to induction. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. From managing pre-employment checks and maintaining accurate records to supporting all areas of recruitment including events where you’ll be engaging with the local community. You'll help ensure our recruitment process is efficient, compliant, and welcoming.
The role is full time, an in-office role based at our head office in central Worthing.

As Recruitment Administrative Assistant you will be joining a team that's passionate about supporting people and communities. You'll be part of a friendly, purpose-driven charity where your work has a real impact and every new starter you help onboard contributes to making a difference.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting candidates and new starters through the recruitment process
- Managing references, right to work checks, DBS checks, and onboarding paperwork
- Maintaining accurate employee records and recruitment databases
- Auditing files to ensure compliance and GDPR standards are met
- Providing administrative support including correspondence, filing, scheduling meetings, and answering enquiries
- Attending recruitment events and promoting Guild Care as an employer of choice
- Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver an excellent recruitment experience
What We’re Looking For:
- A team player with a passion for administration
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Someone who takes initiative and stays one step ahead
- Knowledge of Right to Work and DBS checks
