About the role

Guild Care have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Home Care Manager or Deputy Manager seeking career growth to become a registered manager within 6 months and lead our Home Care service and help shape its future. In the role you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a very respected and known care service. Guild Care’s Home Care service is a welcoming, passionate and kind team who cover a small geographical area in West Sussex. As a driver there will be no long car journeys and a central office space in Worthing town centre.

Working closely with the Head of Home Care, you will inspire and lead a dedicated home care team as well as assist in growing and developing the service. And of course, keeping the people we support at the heart of everything you do.

  • Leading, motivating and supporting the domiciliary care team
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and contractual requirements
  • Overseeing quality audits, safeguarding, medication and health & safety
  • Managing care plans, risk assessments, records and electronic rostering
  • Driving and growing the service while managing budgets, income and expenditure

Who we’re looking for

  • Strong understanding of the CQC regulatory framework
  • Management experience within domiciliary care
  • Passion for supporting older people, including those living with dementia
  • Full driving licence and car
