What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support with Daily Living – help clients with personal care, hygiene routines, dressing, and meals.
  • Be a Friendly Face – offer companionship and conversation, promoting wellbeing and social connection.
  • Keep Things Clean & Safe – support with light domestic duties and ensure care items are clean and hygienic.
  • Help in the Community – assist with local errands like shopping or pension collections.
  • Stay Connected – report changes in client wellbeing to the care team and complete care records accurately.

Required Criteria

  • A caring and compassionate approach
  • The ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Basic literacy and numeracy
  • A commitment to confidentiality and professionalism

  • Ability to travel independently between clients

  • Experience in care, personal support, or dementia care
  • A QCF (NVQ Level 2) in Health and Social Care
