Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Sales Manager - MRI to join our leadership team. In this strategic role, you will oversee sales operations for MRI products across key markets, manage high-value accounts, and lead a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth. The Senior Sales Manager will be instrumental in setting the sales direction, aligning with market needs, and ensuring the long-term success of our MRI product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical device sales, particularly in MRI technology, and a proven ability to lead, strategize, and execute at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to promote MRI product lines in both established and emerging markets.
  • Set ambitious sales targets for the MRI product category, ensuring alignment with overall company growth goals.
  • Lead the development of tactical and strategic plans to penetrate new markets, increase market share, and enhance brand presence.
  • Work closely with senior management to define and execute long-term business objectives.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of regional and national sales managers and representatives, driving a high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and market dynamics.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment while holding individuals accountable for performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and develop personalized career growth plans for team members.
  • Key Account Management: Oversee key client relationships, particularly large hospitals, imaging centers, and healthcare organizations.
  • Manage complex negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the main point of escalation for key accounts, resolving issues and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction.

Market Intelligence & Insights

  • Continuously monitor and analyze the MRI market, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
  • Provide market feedback to product development and marketing teams to ensure product offerings meet customer demands.
  • Establish relationships with key thought leaders and industry influencers to stay at the forefront of market trends and technology advancements.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to create go-to-market plans, sales campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Work closely with the R&D team to provide insights on customer feedback and product improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with operations and logistics to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of MRI systems at client sites.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare and deliver detailed sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to senior leadership.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities using CRM software.
  • Provide real-time data on sales pipelines, revenue projections, and market conditions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor\\\'s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Healthcare, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of sales experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with at least 5 years in a senior sales management role. Significant experience in selling MRI or other imaging technologies, with a deep understanding of MRI systems, clinical applications, and market dynamics. Proven success in driving revenue growth, managing large key accounts, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to drive a high-performance sales team. Deep technical knowledge of MRI technology and its role in the medical diagnostics field. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, with experience in managing complex sales cycles. Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans while remaining adaptable to changing market conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in selling medical imaging systems to large hospitals, government agencies, or healthcare networks.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards, compliance, and certifications in the medical device industry.
  • Experience working in an international or multi-national market is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
