Guidewire is growing its Alliances team to meet the demand for new products and partnerships globally. We need a Director of Alliances to lead our EMEA alliance strategy, partner closely with external partners and internal Sales, Services, and Consulting teams to meet global sales demand.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a growing team of alliance managers and manage own partnerships within UK markets.
  • Collaborate on partner enablement strategies, co-branded marketing events, and foster account-level relationships with Guidewire sales teams and partners.
  • Discover new opportunities for market expansion and drive alliances to generate incremental revenue.
  • Become the go-to person for SI related matters, mastering SI organizations and penetrating their leadership networks.
  • Set strategy for Guidewire with EMEA consulting partners and coordinate with Global and Regional Alliance Managers and sales teams.
  • Develop and maintain senior-level executive relationships with SIs.
  • Ensure SIs understand Guidewire’s value propositions and messages.
  • Reinforce partnership philosophy and establish rules of engagement between Guidewire and SIs.
  • Shepherd SI constituents through sales cycles, ensuring value add to Guidewire’s process.
  • Create account-specific and regional go-to-market plans, co-sell strategies, and keep internal teams updated.
  • Influence SI services teams to build a Guidewire practice for implementations.
  • Provide insight into partner resources, negotiate agreements, and monitor all agreements with partners.
  • Work with Marketing to leverage SI marketing resources.
  • Increase alliance revenue by enabling new business and encouraging business-development readiness.
  • Monitor partner-involved implementations and execute corrective plans if needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in partner relationship development and management.
  • Experience leading a team and setting European alliance strategy.
  • Demonstrated track record working in Global and Regional Alliance Manager models.
  • Proven experience with large Systems Integrators.
  • Alliance experience at a major software product or services company with global reach.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of a second language a bonus.
  • Business acumen and technical aptitude to communicate at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
