Overview: Guidewell Global (ESM Prep UK | UES Education) is a group of passionate educators seeking new Test Prep Mentors, excited to work at the intersection of education and business. We are guided by a mission to deliver transformational educational experiences that support students as whole people. The core values that shape this mission and our work together as colleagues are: student‑centered, empathetic, expert practitioners, and growth‑oriented.
Job Description: Mentors will assist students with one‑on‑one in‑person test preparation by readying them for the ACT and SAT exams and potentially other academic subjects as well. Tutoring will take place primarily out of our Marylebone office. Willingness to tutor in‑home and lead courses are pluses, and will increase the amount of available work as well as hourly pay! We use the title Mentor because our impact goes beyond the score. You will be an expert practitioner who balances rigorous academic prep with empathetic coaching, helping students navigate the high‑pressure US standardized test prep landscape.

- Additional expertise in tutoring multiple high school subjects—especially maths, computer science, and physics—is a plus!
- Available part-time. Tutoring usually occurs on weekday evenings (after 3 pm) and/or at weekends. The typical work timetable is Sunday–Thursday.
- You must be available for in‑person tutoring in our offices in Marylebone, London.
- Teaching school courses at our partner schools in London and the Home Counties is preferred but not required.
- We look for long‑term partners who can see a cohort through their testing cycle (Ideally through June 2027).
Safeguarding: All successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service), given the nature of working with students.
Right to Work: Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this part‑time position.
