Join a fast-paced projects team supporting major infrastructure works across the UK. Lowton Infrastructure Group (LIG) is looking for an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our Projects Team on a fixed-term basis for 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple tasks, communicating with customers and operational teams, and helping ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. You'll play a key role in supporting project delivery, managing administration processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. What you'll be doing
- Supporting the Projects Team with the administration of live projects
- Responding to client enquiries via telephone and email
- Preparing and issuing quotations, confirmations and project documentation
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate project records
- Chasing outstanding purchase orders and required documentation
- Coordinating project schedules and supporting resource planning
- Producing reports and updating trackers
- Liaising with operational teams, clients and suppliers to ensure projects remain on track
- Supporting project meetings and taking actions where required
- General administrative support to the Projects Team
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or support role
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to build positive relationships with both colleagues and customers
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn
- Experience working within projects, construction, utilities, infrastructure or engineering environments
- Experience in strong customer service
