Overview

Join a fast-paced projects team supporting major infrastructure works across the UK. Lowton Infrastructure Group (LIG) is looking for an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our Projects Team on a fixed-term basis for 6 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple tasks, communicating with customers and operational teams, and helping ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

You’ll play a key role in supporting project delivery, managing administration processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Projects Team with the administration of live projects
  • Responding to client enquiries via telephone and email
  • Preparing and issuing quotations, confirmations and project documentation
  • Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate project records
  • Chasing outstanding purchase orders and required documentation
  • Coordinating project schedules and supporting resource planning
  • Producing reports and updating trackers
  • Liaising with operational teams, clients and suppliers to ensure projects remain on track
  • Supporting project meetings and taking actions where required
  • General administrative support to the Projects Team

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or support role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to build positive relationships with both colleagues and customers
  • Proactive approach with a willingness to learn
  • Experience working within projects, construction, utilities, infrastructure or engineering environments
  • Experience in strong customer service
