The Business Development team is looking for an entry‑level Business Development Associate to further develop our business with major corporate institutions, F500 Corporations, Startups, etc. within the region. This is a hybrid position out of our London office. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
What you’ll do:
- Identify prospect clients and communicate Guidepoint’s value proposition via email and telephone
- Build relationships and schedule meetings with clients and senior sales managers
- Map companies in order to identify target groups and job functions
- Utilize Guidepoint's brand to create and develop a robust pipeline of qualified prospects to help drive Guidepoint's commercial success
- Research target industries, sub‑sectors and companies in order to understand their information/research needs and pain‑points
- Work alongside senior sales professionals to provide engaging content for meetings with prospects and effectively articulate our value proposition
- Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape
- Provide client/prospect feedback to sales and management
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record and extracurricular achievement
- 1+ years of experience in a client‑facing role, eg. sales
