This is a full-time, on-site role (40 hours per week) based at our Andover clinic in MA. The standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST. This position primarily works with the Adolescents PHP/IOP population, though will require some flexibility to cover for Adults depending on coverage needs and census.

Seeking associate licensed therapists with 1 year of experience postgraduate or independently licensed therapists in the state of MA (LMHC/LMHC Eligible, LCSW or LICSW). Fully licensed Therapist highly preferred.

Role Summary: The Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions. Guidelight is committed to the professional growth and development of therapists and provides free clinical supervision hours to support clinicians in working toward licensure.

Role Responsibilities/Competencies:

  • Conduct psychological and biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans to create a cohesive case conceptualization.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensive and continuity of care.
  • Complete suicide risk assessment within identified time frames and with appropriate thoroughness and scoring while consulting with clinical leaders.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews determining length of stay and level of care.
  • Assess and identify community resources based on clients' needs during treatment/aftercare planning.
  • Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issues while building supportive and trusting relationships.
  • Come prepared to weekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates, case formulations, and questions to support high-quality care.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Required Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure in the state of MA (LMHC/LMHC Eligible, LCSW or LICSW).
  • If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations, must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelight’s supervision program.
  • Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant PHP/IOP experience.
  • Group Facilitation experience with willingness to follow a structured curriculum.

Pay Range: $70,000 - $95,000 USD
