Senior Consultant – Commercial Financial Services, Risk and Compliance Join Guidehouse to contribute to our Commercial Financial Services capability in the UK. What You Will Do Senior Consultants manage client engagements, implement solutions, and deliver quality results. You will own project workstreams, coach and mentor consultants, and prepare well‑organized reports and presentations. Responsibilities Analyze and remediating operational risk and controls (first and second line of defense tasks). Identify and assess operational risks in new and existing business processes. Map processes, define inherent risks, evaluate existing controls, and test operating effectiveness. Help develop or improve operational risk management frameworks and policies. Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and communicate findings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Three or more years of experience in banking or commercial financial services consulting, focusing on operational risk or compliance. Experience with risk and controls assessments, process mapping, and regulatory compliance. Right to work in the UK (UK passport, Irish passport, Indefinite Leave to Remain, EU Settled Status). Availability to travel up to 75% for client engagements. Nice to Have Prior management consulting experience. Professional certifications such as ACCA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP. MBA or MA/MS degree.
