This internship role is focused on supporting our work with the UK public sector. You will contribute to projects serving UK government entities, including central government departments as well as local authorities and councils. This is a UK Summer internship, duration 12 weeks.
What You Will Do:
- Provide wide-ranging support for client engagements, whilst building your technical foundation.
- Work in a team on complex problems and deliver high quality client-ready work.
- Be coached to demonstrate business professionalism and an ability to grasp new concepts quickly to perform effectively in the client environment.
- Deliver on multiple projects, under the guidance and support of a Consultant mentor and as part of a project team.
- Shadow or conduct interviews to capture information and provide it in a succinct and cohesive format.
- Keep key stakeholders informed on project updates.
- Synthesise data into clear analyses and provide fact-based recommendations and solutions for drafting summary reports and presentations.
- Ensure that documentation is properly managed, quality checked and organised.
- Build good relationships with the wider team and colleagues and participate in team, office and industry events where there are opportunities.

What You Will Need:
- Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years.
- Applicants must be currently authorised to work in the United Kingdom. No sponsorship is available for this position.
- To be able to come into our London office and/or be on client site 3-5 days a week for the duration of the internship.
- Enrolled in a university and graduating with a relevant Undergraduate or Master's degree (e.g. business, finance, supply chain, public policy, engineering, sustainability, energy, economics, mathematics, physical sciences, political sciences, etc.).

- A team-player who demonstrates the willingness and ability to work effectively in diverse teams and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- A critical thinker with a strong eye for detail and creative in problem solving.
- Able to show a working knowledge of data collection, organisational and analytical skills.
- Able to work on multiple projects and show a good understanding of the project objectives and client expectations.
- Comfortable communicating and willing to be coached in presenting to colleagues and potentially clients.
- Experience in Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- A strong curiosity, and/or experience in, government, public policy or organisational design.
