What You Will Do
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to align on timelines, resources, and priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing project performance and serve as the primary point of contact for clients on project progress, ensuring transparency.
- Lead client meetings and workshops with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Conduct detailed analysis on client projects and turn into actionable insights through compelling narratives using Microsoft PowerPoint, PowerBI or Tableau.
- Lead project execution including assessing, measuring, monitoring, reporting and remediating operational risk and controls in new or existing business processes.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
- Lead team in preparing responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs) for prospective clients.
- Help clients develop or implement operational risk management frameworks, guidelines, and policies whilst ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
- 1st and 2nd line of defense tasks to include identifying, assessing, measuring, monitoring, reporting and remediating operational risk and controls.
- Identify and assess operational risks in new or existing business processes.
- Evaluate whether controls are well designed and operating as expected to mitigate risks.
- Communicate risk & control findings and influence change.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 (FIVE) or more years of experience in banking industry or commercial financial services consulting, in one or more of the following areas: operational risk and/or big bank compliance (first or second line of defense); banking regulations, compliance, and risk management requirements; experience with risk and controls current state assessments (including process mapping); managed compliance and risk projects for large banks in a consulting capacity, ensuring adherence to international regulatory standards.
- Ability to travel for client engagements if required.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
- Proven ability to successfully lead client service delivery teams that deliver the highest quality work.
- Team leadership experience including managing project delivery.
- Right to Work in the UK e.g. UK Passport, Ireland Passport (Common Travel Area Agreement), Indefinite Leave to Remain, EU Settled Status.
What Would Be Nice To Have
- CPA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other relevant certifications.
- MBA or MA/MS degree in a related field.
