Guided Talent is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner (Nights) to join our client, a world-leading aerospace manufacturing organisation based in West London.

This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner with strong Fanuc programming, setting and operating experience to work within a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture complex, high-precision components to demanding tolerances and quality standards. Working on a permanent night shift, you will play an important role in maintaining production output while ensuring exceptional levels of accuracy and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme, set and operate CNC lathes, predominantly using Fanuc controls.
  • Manufacture complex, high-precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Create, edit and optimise CNC programmes at the machine.
  • Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds and machining parameters.
  • Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manufacturing instructions.
  • Work to tight tolerances while maintaining consistently high standards of quality.
  • Carry out dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured components.
  • Identify and resolve machining or programming issues efficiently.
  • Make adjustments and offsets where required to maintain component accuracy.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant quality, safety and manufacturing procedures.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a highly skilled engineering team.

Skills & Experience

The successful CNC Turner will ideally have:

  • Proven experience working as a CNC Turner, CNC Lathe Programmer or CNC Machinist.
