This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a skilled Manual Machinist, Manual Turner or Toolmaker looking to work within a high-precision engineering environment.
You will be responsible for setting and operating manual lathes to manufacture precision aerospace components, working accurately to engineering drawings and exacting quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual lathes and associated machine tools to manufacture precision components.
- Produce components accurately to engineering drawings, specifications and required tolerances.
- Select appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments to achieve the required dimensions and finish.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
