Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager – Telecoms to join their growing technical operations team. This is a predominantly office-based, hybrid role, offering flexibility alongside the opportunity to take a senior leadership position within a specialist telecoms-focused environment.

The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for engineers in the field, providing technical guidance, operational support, and professional electrical advice to customers. The role also involves producing quotations for remedial works and telecoms-related electrical projects, as well as managing a team of coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for telecoms engineers working in the field
  • Providing technical electrical and telecoms-related advice to customers
  • Preparing and issuing quotes for remedial works and telecoms electrical projects
  • Managing and supporting a team of coordinators
  • Conducting occasional on-site audits of field engineers (fuel expenses covered)
  • Ensuring all electrical works comply with current regulations and industry standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement across telecoms electrical processes and service delivery

Skills & Experience Required

  • Electrical qualifications including:
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391 Electrical Testing & Inspection
  • Proven Telecoms industry experience
  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of DC electrics, particularly within telecoms environments
  • Construction industry experience is acceptable
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with engineers, coordinators, and customers
  • Organised, proactive, and commercially aware

    • Hybrid working model, with some travel to Coventry required
    • Predominantly office-based with minimal field work
    • Fuel paid for any required site audits
    • Salary of £60,000+, dependent on experience
