Our client is a renowned privately owned business, active in the healthcare sector and a leader in diagnostic imaging. Its main products are contrast agents, medical substances used to improve the diagnostic accuracy of biomedical imaging and the care of patients affected by diseases of varying types and severity. Its innovative portfolio of products and solutions for all diagnostic modalities is completed by several medical devices and advanced administration systems for contrast imaging products in the fields of cardiology and radiology.
Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager to lead a team of seven in the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain and grow the company’s sales pipeline and forecast revenue.
- Oversee sales of the company’s products and services.
- Develop and execute marketing, sales plans, and strategies, including creating and updating marketing and sales plans, setting marketing budgets, monitoring performance, and developing and designing marketing materials for web and print.
- Develop and regularly review sales and marketing budgets.
- Develop, implement, and maintain sales strategies.
- Understand company objectives, and conduct market research to evaluate opportunities, identify potential partners, set pricing, develop pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts.
- Lead Sales and Marketing function.
- Ensure that the activity of the Sales team is aligned with the objectives set out in the company tactical plan.
- Track sales activities and reports.
- Maintain accurate company database (CRM) and ensure compliance with Sales team.
- Manage the operating expense budget for the sales & marketing team and keep the total costs within budget.
To be considered for this position candidates must closely match the following reference profile:
- Experience as a UK Product Manager or Marketing Manager is a must. Candidates without such experience will not be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or a related field.
- 3+ years proven experience in Marketing.
- Strong track record in Sales and Marketing of Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices in UK/IE.
- Demonstrated experience in managing, motivating, and incentivizing the Sales and/or Marketing team.
- Strong business acumen and proven track record to demonstrate achievements and experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and sales skills.
