About the RoleAs Regional Sales Manager, you will lead commercial growth across North West England, Scotland, and Ireland, driving adoption of an innovative cardiovascular diagnostic solution that enables precise, patient-centred care. This role combines strategic business development with hands-on account management, working closely with hospitals, clinicians, and health systems to expand access to life-changing diagnostic tools.
You will operate from a home base with frequent travel to customer sites, clinical meetings, and healthcare events.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, engage, and close new business opportunities within NHS and private healthcare settings.
Build and manage a robust pipeline, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to expand adoption of cardiovascular diagnostic solutions.
Drive clinical utilisation and adoption within existing accounts across cardiology, radiology, and primary care.
Build trusted partnerships with Interventional Cardiologists, Radiologists, and hospital decision-makers.
Deliver education, case support, and strategic guidance to ensure successful clinical implementation.
Champion the value proposition to strengthen customer loyalty and advocacy.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Market Access, Clinical, and Implementation teams.
Organise and support educational programmes including workshops, symposia, and physician engagement events.
Capture and communicate market insights and customer feedback to shape ongoing commercial strategy.
Consistently achieve or exceed regional sales, utilisation, and adoption targets.
Maintain accurate CRM reporting, territory planning, and forecasting.
Monitor competitive activity and identify emerging opportunities within cardiovascular imaging and diagnostics.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven success in medical device or healthcare technology sales, ideally in cardiology, cardiovascular diagnostics, or radiology.
Experience introducing new technologies into NHS or private hospital systems.
Strong clinical and commercial understanding of the cardiovascular and imaging landscape.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
Strategic, analytical, and results-driven mindset with strong negotiation and closing skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and digital reporting tools.
Bachelor\’s degree in Science, Medicine, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
7–10+ years\’ relevant sales experience.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel extensively (60–80%).
